LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL ADAPTATION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS IN MULTI-CULTURAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Annotation

The article deals with the concept of foreign students’ linguistic and cultural adaptation to the different educational environment. Methodological realization of the integrative model of the linguistic and cultural adaptation consists in Russian language culture-oriented studies, creating the environment allowing foreign students acquiring the Russian language to familiarise themselves with the new culture, to overcome barriers of acculturation and become tolerant, to successfully carry out educational activities and acquire a future job using the Russian language in the multi-cultural educational environment.
