THEORY OF ELDERLY PEOPLE’S PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT AIMING AT IMPROVING THEIR LIFE QUALITY THROUGH THEIR INTO CREATIVE ACTIVITIES

Annotation

The article is devoted to the theory of pedagogical support of elderly people aiming at improving their life quality and developed by the author. The education of elderly people (gerontology) is considered the final stage of continuous education. Theoretical and methodical bases of elderly people pedagogical support are represented by ontological, cultural and anthropological and individual oriented approaches, cultural and historical pedagogy and psychology of personal development. The theory of creativity, psychology and pedagogy of creative work allowed the author to suggest and theoretically substantiate the idea that creative activities are the leading activities of the elderly people. Within gerontology it is possible to solve the scientific problem of definition of theoretical and methodological bases of elderly people’s pedagogical support aiming at increasing their life quality.
