THE THEORETICAL BASES OF COGNITIVE COMPETENCES DEVELOPMENT IN PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION
Annotation
The article pays special attention to the definition of the concept “cognitive competence of a child”. The author defines cognitive competence as a set of various abilities based on a number of cognitive processes, such as perception, imagination and thinking. It is proved, that the efficiency of preschool preparation is determined by a number and variety of learning styles the child knows, their creative transformation of the world and the value attitude to the world. The article also presents pedagogical conditions of cognitive competence development: realization of the theory of children’s outlook evolution and development of the ability to categorize the world.Key words
