GENDER COMPETENCE OF A TEACHER

Annotation

This given article analyses certain theoretical aspects of teachers’ gender competence. The author looks into the problem of definition of the concept “teacher’s gender competence” and its structure comprising motivational and volitional, functional and reflectional components. The motivational and volitional component of the teacher’s gender competence is characterized by a positive attitude towards the gender approach. The functional component of a teacher’s gender competence includes gender individual psychological, gender social psychological and gender psychological pedagogical competences. The reflectional component of the teacher’s gender competence includes a gender self-psychological competence.
