Annotation

The article is devoted to certain theoretical and practical aspects of the art students training in the area environmental design. The author describes the process of environmental design objects creation as a complex process of developing object and space environmental system, especially in urban design. She looks at rhythm as the basic component of the composition, analyses the current state and prospects of the Chair of Design and Applied Arts in scientific and methodological development of this discipline.
