Annotation

The research is aimed at revealing the possibilities of creative work in the system of pedagogical higher education in order to promote the professional competence of future teachers. The functions of scientific and pedagogical creative activities are determined by the mission and objectives of higher educational establishments and by the peculiarities of students in the educational process. The author looks into the following functions of the scientific and creative activities of students: orientation, development, learning and self-realization.
