INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO INTRODUCING FOLK ART AT FINE ART LESSONS

Annotation

The article deals with the problem of introducing the experimental course “Fine Art and Kuban Studies” in the secondary school. The innovative approach to introducing folk art at school consists in new content and technologies of artistic and esthetic activities of students. They get acquainted with the cultural inheritance of the preceding generations, learn traditional crafts and the beginnings of the folk arts. The educational process is organized in the way that promotes the students’ knowledge of folk traditions as well as their confident interaction with each other in Kuban cultural environment.
