Annotation

Application of information and communication technologies in various spheres of people’s life determines the necessity of mastering a new kind of competence – informative and communicative. The competence approach to the organization of the educational process requires system and continuity in its realization, i.e. gradual development from one educational level to another. In the article the opportunities and specific features of efficient development of the informative and communicative competence in foreign language teaching are described.
