PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF 6–7-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN WITH THE HELP OF DAGESTAN TRADITIONAL HOLIDAYS

Annotation

This article deals with the problem of patriotic upbringing of children according to the traditions of Dagestan people. The investigation is based on the theoretical concept of S. A. Kozlova concerning the integral character of patriotic feelings including gnostical, emotional and activity based components. The main entertainment for children were seasonal social holidays based on the images and ideas familiar to them as they are closely connected with the nearest social surrounding of a child. The holiday is not only informative, but also emotionally charged and can be understood by children though personal active participation. That is why the holiday has to include all the components promoting development of patriotic feelings: emotional, gnoseological and active oriented. To achieve this aim we implemented the principles of contents selection. They are revealed in the works by L.G Archazhnikova, V.V. Kosminskaya, E.I. Kor neeva: figurative embodiment of the holiday idea
