Annotation

The article contains the review of research on the problem of gender identity formation of a person, raises the issue of identification of teenagers with parents of the same and the opposite sex. The author pays special attention to the laws of parents’ gender orientation perception by teenagers, as the basis their own gender identity. The interrelation between gender identity of teenagers and type of the gender attributed to parents is established.
