Annotation

The article reveals the role of ethnocultural traditions in the formation of creative potential of future teachers of technology. The author analyses such concepts, as “ethnocultural traditions” and “creative potential”. The author emphasizes the importance of ethnocultural traditions in the development of the experimental course “Design and folk-style in clothes: historical experience and modern technologies». The purpose of this course is the formation of creative potential, improvement of professional, pedagogical and technological preparation of future teachers of technology on the ethnocultural basis.
