MAIN IDEAS AND PRINCIPLES OF COSSACK PEDAGOGY

Annotation

The article touches upon the main principles and ideas of sociocultural conception of upbringing – the Cossack pedagogy, based on the traditional values of the Cossack culture as well as modern forms of organization of the educational space in cultural Cossack communities, solving the problems of restoration of religious and ideological foundations of the Cossacks’ culture and revival of the Cossacks phenomenon. The Cossack pedagogy is regarded by the author as a cultural and historical pedagogy upholding the centuries-old Slavic Russian idea of free personality development, people’s democratic society and conscious service to the motherland.
