Annotation

The article touches upon theoretical and methodological bases of research represented by the cultural approach, its core components concerning the cultural determination of development of a person as an individual, as a subject of culture, and the value-oriented approach, allowing to consider development of a person as a special emotional and cognitive world, as the core of consciousness reflecting the understanding of cultural values and a human life. The author also carefully considers the phenomenon of cultural identity explaining the ability of the cultural subject to identify themselves with a certain social group and the theory of Childhood as an environment apt for personal development of an individual and gaining the necessary social experience, which forms the basis of the author’s world of Childhood concept.
