Annotation

The article presents the results of research aimed at developing and testing pedagogical conditions appropriate for creating 6-year-olds’ tolerant attitude to the world through folklore. The necessary conditions are stipulated by certain theoretical propositions which form the basis of the concept of the child’s tolerant attitude to the world development through folklore where a child can find clear images, symbols and ways of tolerant attitude realization. This concept is also characterized by values of life reflected in children’s interaction with other people, nature and culture. Culture-oriented technologies of development of tolerant attitude to the world include dialogue, game, pedagogical situations, and fruitful creative activities. Space and object environment of a pre-school establishment contains a number of elements promoting the development of tolerant world attitude.
