TRUST IN ONESELF AS A POSSIBILITY OF LIVING IN THE WORLD IN CASE OF EXTREME SITUATIONS

Annotation

This article is devoted to the questions concerning the possibility of living in the world in case of extreme situations learning to trust the world and oneself, which alongside with the correlation of reliance on the world and oneself according to individual perception, supports an individual, promotes confidence in decision-making and ability to overcome extreme situations, such as migration. Trust in the world and oneself is in the dynamic balance and is the guarantee of a successful adaptation process helping a person to become an active participant of life in extreme situations. Tolerance of native people to migrants plays an important role as it modifies the migrants’ behaviour. This article also suggests a scheme of adaptation.
