ADAPTATION OF NONVERBAL COMMUNICATIVE BEHAVIOUR OF FOREIGN STUDENTS STUDYING RUSSIAN IN THE LANGUAGE ENVIRONMENT

Annotation

The article proves the necessity of studying nonverbal means of communication and their specific national peculiarities in the process of language learning. It also deals with the concept of nonverbal communicative behaviour and suggests a number of ways and methodological means of teaching Russian non-verbal communicative behaviour to foreign students; the methodology of its study with the use of films and texts from the classical literature is described in the article too. The article also proves the necessity to include social aspects of nonverbal means of communication usage, taking into account pragmatic interests of inofons in order to achieve social and cultural adaptation to the language environment and existence.
