DEVELOPMENT OF ORTHOGRAPHIC LITERACY OF JUNIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH SPEECH DISORDERS

Annotation

The article describes the qualitative singularity characteristics of the orthography and requisite-motivational elements of its learning by the students of the second – fourth grades. The correlation between the necessity mode, motivation to learn orthography, the style of stimulating information coding and the leading modality of the recipients has been duly determined. The orthographic literacy level (including the inclinations of the intuitional orthographic literacy) has been brought into correlation with the students’ ability to select and actualize the informative or operational details of the grammatical and orthographical operations. The author distinguishes three groups of recipients with systemic speech deficiency according to the criteria suggeasted.
