Annotation

The article is devoted to the problem of development of national pedagogical college graduates’ professional competence. The author distinguishes core components of professional and pedagogical competence, emphasizes the role of cognitive elements in the structure of the teacher’s professional competence and defines psychological, pedagogical and objective elements of the teacher’s competence. The scientific novelty of the research is in explanation of methodological approaches to the process of future teacher’s professional competence development in the conditions of pedagogical education modernization. The article also considers certain peculiarities of professional activities of competent teachers and shares the experience of Elista Pedagogical College in future teacher’s professional pedagogical competence development in the national system of education in the Republic of Kalmykia
