Annotation

The research is aimed at studying adaptation possibilities of hearing-impaired students of initial vocational training educational establishments. The author’s objective was to estimate personal adaptation potential on the basis of behaviour regulation levels, communicative abilities and moral norms determinations. The results of the comparative analysis of the psychological examination results prove that hearing-impaired students of initial vocational training educational establishments show lower levels of adaptation than their healthy peers. The author comes to the conclusion that there is a need of pedagogical assistance to hearing-impaired students in initial vocational training educational establishments in order to facilitate their adaptation/
