Annotation

The article is devoted to peculiarities of orphans’ gender identification consisting in difficulties the child faces while acquiring his/her social role. Socialization is the key element of gender identification development. Gender identification is enabled by the process of children’s socialization involving psycho-sexual development, teaching social roles and setting sexual preferences. The goal of the research is to study socialization of children-orphans in the context of gender identification problems. The objective of the research is to carry out the comparative analysis of family education peculiarities and specific conditions of children-orphans’ education in boarding schools.
