Annotation

The article explains the concept of asynchronous education and determines the main characteristics of asynchronous organization of the educational process in the system of higher education. The author reveals certain peculiarities of asynchronous organization of students’ professional training. It is proved, that the introduction of the credit system in Russian higher educational establishments will make it possible to solve the problems of asynchronous organization of professional training and transition to the system of continuous education. The article also focuses on the advantages of the educational process based on the credit-point system.
