IMPROVING TEACHERS’ ICT COMPETENCE IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SYSTEM

Annotation

The article is dedicated to the issues of the improvement of teachers’ professional competence in the conditions of informatization of education. The author examines the requirements to teachers in the modern system of education and the interconnection of a teacher’s ICT-competence and the system of their skills improvement. The author also analyzes the influence of normalization on the quality of supplementary professional education. As an example the author tells about the experience of the Chuvash Republic in determining the level of teachers’ ICT competence in the course of teachers’ and school managing staff’ assessment.
