RUSSIAN PRIMARY SCHOOL IN EDUCATIONAL AND ENLIGHTENMENT PROJECTS OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE XIXTH CENTURY

Annotation

The article is devoted to the analysis of early futuristic attempts of social projects aimed at actualization of cultural potential of primary education during the administrative reforms of the first half of the XIXth century. The author analyses the state of education after the introduction of new juridical regulations. Most important educational and enlightenment projects written by Russian political and public figures, historians, thin kers and men of letters are contemplated. Differences between their political standpoints and world outlook are analysed, their contribution to the development of the Russian system of primary education is carefully evaluated by the author.
