ELECTIVE COURSES AS MEANS OF DEVELOPING PERSONAL ATTITUDES OF SENIOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

Annotation

The article is devoted to the role of school education in the development of new life attitudes of a person through introduction of elective courses into the educational process. Special attention is paid to the necessity of focused, specially organized and complex work with students aimed at developing their readiness for reasonable and responsible choice of the future learning path. The author presents a number of factors contributing to the success of a conscious profile choice and promoting the use of elective courses at different levels of school education. The article also considers criteria for selecting the content of physical education for elective courses.
