DISCOURSIVE LINE IN THE ORAL PRACTICE ASPECT OF THE LINGUISTIC CURRICULUM

Annotation

Development of linguists’ discoursive competence is studied in ‘oral practice’ aspect with the help of both syllabus study manuals and tasks recommended in teaching instruction works. Discourse management and interactive communication tasks are considered by the author of the article, discoursive significance of dialogical and monological speech is evaluated. It is proved that depending on the character of the social situation involved the corresponding discourse may vary and acquire various degrees of formality and informality. There are examples of explorative tasks aimed at the development of sociocultural student competence drawing on the metalinguistic consideration of discoursive expression. The discoursive line of the given aspect is shown to be developed on the integrative basis.
