SOME ASPECTS OF THE SYSTEM OF LIFELONG LEARNING IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION

Annotation

The article analyzes the impact of introduction of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the engineering education in Russia. As a result of the reforms which are necessary for development of education, there are new requirements for engineers and designers. The reform imposes additional requirements on the system of lifelong learning. Now it is necessary to develop a united system of lifelong learning and university. Reviewed experience of integration programs of university education in the system of supplementary education is shown on the example of the studio “Architectural Modeling” (DDT “Izmailovskiy”, St.-Petersburg). The authors also characterises various teaching methods, and primarily, the project method.
