ORGANIZATION OF DISTANCE EDUCATION OF PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED CHILDREN IN THE SYSTEM OF SPECIAL EDUCATION IN THE LENINGRAD REGION

Annotation

The article describes major approaches to differentiated training of physically challenged children by means of distance education. The necessity of individual approach to training children with various developmental deficiencies is analysed. The authors of the article also consider the structure and the content of activities of the resource centre created with the assistance of experts of Pushkin Leningrad State University in order to help physically challenged children living in the Leningrad region. The article outlines the main trajectories of distance education development in special pedagogics.
