Annotation

The article is devoted to the use and classification of interactive biology class activities in the 6th school year aimed at promoting students’ independent research activities carried out to acquire new knowledge with the help of different learning means and personal experience and owing to special conditions for individual and group activities created in class. In interactive teaching the teacher acts as a facilitator and “the source of information”, who also monitors the developing of students’ knowledge. Students acquire knowledge independently, which requires a high learning motivation ensured by an independent choice of activities aimed at gaining new knowledge and skills.
