Annotation

The article looks into the most common characteristics of methodological approaches to education, such as ontological, axiological, existential, synergetic, personality-oriented, etc. The author determines the general socio-pedagogical strategy of education, the essence of which is creation of the necessary conditions ensuring humanistic development of a person. Education is regarded as a humanitarian practice organized according to the following principles: social adequacy, individualization, volitional socialization and professionalization.
