Annotation

The article deals with the problems of development of media culture and, in particular, the English-language culture as a means of media education of future specialists. Foreign-language education is to enrich the inner world of a person by “foreign-language culture” which is a part of human culture as a whole. Media education of future specialists in the sphere of cinema and television has aesthetic and culturological direction. Acquiring media culture of Britain and the USA will promote the development of their general culture, their moral appearance, aesthetic breeding and professional competences.
