Annotation

The article is devoted to creativity as a value and target guideline for the professional training of future technology teachers. The author explains the importance of the key notion “creativity”. She analyses various approaches to the notion and underlines that creativity is necessary to fulfill new pedagogical tasks, which the modern school sets and which are connected with development of a person not only as a representative of the existing culture, but also as the “creator” of his own new individual culture. This ability allows the teacher to go beyond the limits of the syllabus and develop the content of education finding the right balance between the traditional (‘set’, national) culture and developing modern culture.
