The article reveals and conceptualizes peculiarities of liberal education, presents epistemological analysis of humanitarian knowledge. The author specifies the concept of providing quality education and anticipatory education, reveals the principles of advanced education in higher educational establishments, gives essential characteristics of the content and technological components of ensuring the quality of higher humanitarian education and determines the value of humanitarian education in training professionals capable of working efficiently in various socio-economic spheres.
