HEURISTIC APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMPETENCES OF TECHNICAL STUDENTS

Annotation

The article deals with the problem of technical students’ professional foreign language communication competence development based on the heuristic educational model. The problems discussed in the article are topical due to the increasing demand for qualified technical experts speaking a foreign language in the labor market. The research resulted in revealing the basic components of professional foreign language communicative competences, as well as the criteria determining the components development stage and their heuristic characteristics. The necessity of developing this competence teaching future engineers is proved by the author.
