Annotation

The article focuses on the problems of modernizing higher pedagogical education taking into account the requirements of the presidential concept “Our New School”, challenges of globalization, the necessity of innovative advanced development of the country and development of a person having innovation abilities and being able to keep abreast and work on the development processes. The author substantiates and reviews the basic notions of pedagogical education modernization at the modern stage: advanced education, pedagogical education of university type, qualities of a person (a university graduate), conditions of personal and professional development of a teacher in the university scientific and educational environment.
