COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH TO FOREIGN LANGUAGES TEACHING UNDER CONDITIONS OF TWO-LEVEL EDUCATION (NON-LINGUISTIC INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION)

Annotation

Special attention under conditions of two-level education is paid to the tea ching process resulting in getting by students a Master’s degree. A Master should possess the following competences: personal, aimed at development of the secon dary linguistic personality; linguo-professional, providing ability of efficient business communication; research competence, the aim of which is to be able to use methods of scientific search and preparation for writing master’s dissertation; metacognitive competence, that enables to find the necessary information, interpret and present it. The article is devoted to the models of a Bachelor and a Master based on psychological, competence and integrative approaches.
