DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL PERIODICALS IN BELARUSSIA AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ХХTH CENTURY

Annotation

Two main directions of the Belarusian educational thought of the beginning of the XX century are revealed in the article for the first time. The author substantiates that the first direction (an official one) succeeded in the development of general pedagogical problems, while the problems of national Belarusian school were omitted. The second direction was connected with the idea of national Belarusian school creation. The author proves that lack of certain interaction between these two above stated directions was a serious drawback of the Belarusian education at the beginning of the XX century.
