Annotation

The given article is devoted to the analysis of career guidance of modern Rostovon- Don school leavers. Authors consider a future career choice in the context of structure of modern youth values and show that now the choice of a career and higher educational establishment depends on quality of training at school and labor costs of schoolchildren. Carried out research also shows discrepancy of pupils’ social claims as a whole and their educational practices. The authors’ position is grounded by results of empirical sociological research which was carried out in a number of schools of Rostov-on-Don in October–December, 2009.
