TEACHING INTEGRATED COURSE «MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE» WITH THE USE OF MATHCAD SOFTWARE PACKAGE IN PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE

Annotation

The article provides an attempt to disclose a place and role of integrated course «Mathematics and Computer Science» realized by means of a specialized software package Mathcad in the system of professional training of the future teachers. The author points out that information and communication technologies are reasonable to be considered within the framework of personality focused training model. He singles out development of research and design skills and abilities in students as the key priority. The basic competences which these two sciences develop in future experts of non-mathematical specialties are described.
