SPIRITUAL APPROACH TO STUDYING HUMANISTIC ISSUES OF THE MODERN CIVILISATION

Annotation

The article presents a new approach to studying humanistic issues, which has become possible in the context of the Russian Academy of Education Academician Bondarevskaya’s scientific school. E.V. Bondarevskaya is the founder of personalityoriented educational paradigm and culture-oriented education in modern Russian pedagogical science. The authors describe the relation between spirituality, culture and civilization. They state that a deep humanistic crisis triggering socio-cultural risks, which cannot be managed by technocratic means, incentivised the search for efficient methods and approaches, such as the spiritual approach. The article also outlines global humanistic issues and their manifestation in Russia.
