SCHOOL AND HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT: HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF EDUCATION CONTINUITY

Annotation

Genesis of the school and higher educational establishment, presented in the article, is connected with the inconsistent history of education continuity at various stages of education. In retrospect, the idea of continuity school and higher education is defined by the author as a way from the total autonomy to complete merging, in the long term, in a uniform educational paradigm. As a socially determined category, the idea of continuity of education was realized in the educational systems of the Antiquity, Middle Ages and Renaissance. The analysis of correlations of school and higher education will help determine historical reasons of failures as well as development of continuity of school and higher education demanded at the present stage of education development.
