Annotation

This article is dedicated to an actual problem both in theory and practice of bringing up of an individual citizen based on universal values using innovative textbook for higher education institutions «History and culture of target language countries». The work demonstrates staged development of cross-cultural, linguocountry study and multicultural competence that are deemed to raise social responsibility and tolerance to dissent.
