Annotation

The article deals with the main forms of children’s virtual Internet communication, and their controversial educational potential. It also reveals main approaches to the definition of the notion “Internet culture” and introduces the structure and contents of the notion “Internet culture”, criteria, properties and levels of Internet culture. The article presents the model of mutual influence of social education and the process of Internet culture development, describes the pedagogical conditions ensuring the efficiency of senior schoolchildren’s Internet culture development. The article is based on the results of the dissertation research.
