COGNITIVE BASIS OF PERSONAL HUMANITARIAN CULTURE DEVELOPMENT

Annotation

The article aims at considering the cognitive basis of the personal humanitarian culture development. Relying on the basic concept of the humanitarian culture of a personality as an integrative phenomenon insuring a person’s social and cultural integration in the modern multicultural society, the author points out the following constituent components of the humanitarian culture of a personality: cognitive, communicative, axio logical, reflexive and active, and aesthetic. The cognitive component presupposes the acquisition and transfer of the accumulated systematic, humanitarian and socio-cultural knowledge, which lies in the basis of the humanistic thinking, thus determining and conditioning existential semantic goals and value guiding lines of a person.
