Annotation

The article provides comparative analysis of a wide range of problems connected with methodology of scientific and pedagogical research in the Soviet (70–80-s of XX century) and post Soviet periods of pedagogical science development. Lack of Pedagogy as social institute, serious drawbacks in scientific and pedagogical research and their reasons are allocated and analyzed. Author’s comments on the above mentioned issues and practical recommendations on work improvement in the field of methodological preparation of dissertators are presented.
