Annotation

The article concerns with the question of changes in qualitative features of pedagogical activity of a university teacher during introduction of Federal State Educational Standards of new generation. The author shows that under the influence of competence-based approach there occurs a transformation of views concerning traditional functions of a teacher. The author provides basic directions of quality control systems modernization, ensuring high motivation of teachers under new conditions and their readiness for it.
