DEVELOPMENT OF INSTITUTIONS OF PUBLIC PRESCHOOL EDUCATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF DAGESTAN IN 1940–1959

Annotation

The article deals with the stages of development of the institutions of public preschool education in the republic of Dagestan 1940–1959 described on the basis of the conducted research. The author identifies the main challenges which put obstacles for the development of pre-school institutions and organization of educational work with children taking into account specific local conditions. They include the following factors: multi-ethnicity; poor Russian language skills; low educational level of the personnel; lack of well-trained staff for preschool educational establishments; lack methodical base in the languages of the peoples of Dagestan and others. The author also mentions that the features of the socio-economic structure such as the multinational environment, mono and multinational composition of children audience have a significant influence on the organization of the pedagogical process in pre-school institutions.
