INTERRELATION OF IDEAS ABOUT PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY AND SATISFACTION FROM PROFESSIONAL CHOICE OF STUDENTS-PSYCHOLOGISTS

Annotation

The article analyses impact of ideas about profession on becoming an expertpsychologist. The conducted research revealed that senior students have new requirements to their profession - aspiration for aesthetics and beauty at work, aspiration to be original at work, to make new discoveries; opportunities for creativity. According to the authors, need for material valuables also become greater at this period. The authors show dynamics of interrelation between idea about object of professional work and motives for the choice of profession and satisfaction from the made choice. The article convincingly states that that during higher school training period, students’ ideas about their future career are specified, become fuller and more realistic and in their estimations they gradually approach an ideal image of an expert.
