VISUAL DISORDERS MECHANISMS OF SENIOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WITH GENERAL SPEECH PATHOLOGY

Annotation

The article deals with the research of psycho-physiological aspects of visual perception of children aged 6,5 with general speech pathology of III degree. The authors state that speech pathology development is accompanied by decay in visual perception. As a result of studying structures of visual caused potentials of children with speech pathology, substantial increase of the latent periods of early components was revealed. Presumably, children with the general speech pathology have only rough integrative estimation of visual stimulus: from a retina stimulus is transferred through magnocellular system, and parvocellular system remains functionally underdeveloped.
