Annotation

The article considers some issues concerning development of professional culture of future engineers in the system of higher school educational establishments. The author defines key points, content and functions of engineering culture. The article states that developing professional engineering culture of high level promotes training engineering staff possessing such qualities as: high adaptability, good communicative skills, precise value-motivational orientations, ability to predict results of their activity, creative approach to the choice or creation of new ways of professional work, ability to make best decisions and to bear responsibility for them, to undertake certain actions aimed at introspection and self-improvement.
