Annotation

The article analyzes the main ways and theoretical approaches of intellect and social intellect research in Russian and foreign psychology. It covers current issues and problems of age-psychological approach to social intellect phenomenon research. The author formulates her own notion of a child’s social intellect as capability to learn social reality which unites and regulates cognitive process, connected with relations between social objects (a man or a group of people as a game, communication, activity partner).
